Investacast has been working within the civilian aircraft sector for over 50 years. Investment castings in high strength alloys have been the primary choice for aircraft seating designers for decades as they offer a near net size product and high strength to weight ratios.

Our ability to manufacture in a multitude of processes and alloys including carbon, austenitic and precipitation hardening stainless and tool steels, gives product designers the opportunity to design thin wall, high strength investment castings.

Forgings in six and seven series aluminium grades are essential for the structural elements of aircraft seating. Aluminium pressure die castings with high levels of surface finish are the choice for low cost high volume components.
