Whether you are a recent engineering graduate looking to build your career or an experienced engineer seeking a broader technical role, this position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise within a specialist investment casting environment.

Working alongside one of our most experienced engineers as part of a long-term succession plan, you will be involved in every stage of the engineering process, from customer design reviews and tooling design through to manufacturing support, process development and new product introduction. The role offers genuine scope to expand your technical capability while progressing towards a senior engineering position.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with strong technical foundations and a genuine passion for manufacturing.

Applications are welcomed from engineers at different stages of their careers, including:

  • Recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
  • Engineers with experience in manufacturing, process, production or design engineering.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Previous investment casting experience is not essential. Full training and ongoing mentoring will be provided.

Why Join Investacast?

This is more than a typical graduate engineering role. You will work closely with an experienced engineer, gain direct exposure to customers and manufacturing operations, and take ownership of real engineering projects from an early stage in your career.

As part of a long-term succession plan, this role provides a clear pathway for professional development, offering the opportunity to become a future senior technical leader within Investacast.
