NC Precision joins Investacast in leading precision casting and machining group

Investacast is part of UK precision casting and machining group Expromet Technologies Group, which has just announced the acquisition of NC Precision, a leading manufacturer of precision components.

World-class engineering solutions

NC Precision specialises in CNC sliding head machining and miniature machining for a wide range of industry sectors. The acquisition represents a further step in the development of Expromet as a leading group of advanced precision casting and machining businesses, delivering world-class engineering solutions for performance-critical applications.

Complementary CNC sliding head expertise

NC Precision is a specialist CNC sliding head machining company established in 1999 to create a centre of excellence for CNC sliding head turning. The company has gone on to become one of the UK’s leading precision machining companies, renowned for high precision and producing complex components from 0.5mm to 35mm diameter for demanding end applications across its diverse customer base.

The business is based in Chard, Somerset just a few miles from Expromet Group sister company Metaltech Precision. Andy Riste, Managing Director of Metaltech Precision, said:

The acquisition increases our portfolio of sliding head machines to 13 and extends our capacity to offer micro machining of miniature components.
